MCA amends Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014

MCA amends Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014 on 7^th November, 2016 and releases Companies( Registration Offices and Fees) Second Amendment Rules, 2016.

The principle rule 8(12)(b)(iv) shall be substituted by:

(iv) AOC-4 certification by the Chartered Accountant or the Company Secretary or as the case may be by the Cost Accountant, in whole time practice.

The fess for surrender of DIN has been amended and will be applicable on all the companies. The bifurcation of the same is as follows:

Particulars	OPC and Small Company	Other than OPC and small company
(vi) for allotment of Director Identification Number (DIN) under section 153 of the Act	500	500
(vii) for surrender of Director Identification Number under Rule 11(f) of the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014	1000	1000
